Born in the United Kingdom, Andy spent his childhood moving from one base to another following his fathers’ job, and it was in Berlin where he was introduced to dingy sailing and discovered his passion for being on the water. At the age of 17 Andy completed his first Atlantic crossing, by the age of 23 he had sailed around Cape Horn (the wrong way!) and completed Arctic, Antarctic, and Pacific sailing expeditions. After serving in the British Army for nine years, Andy dreamt about returning to the seas and basing himself in the Greek Islands.
Andy’s adventures working in yachting either on charter, cruising or racing has lead him to serve on some of the worlds most prestigious yachts including the 88m Perini Navi S/Y Maltese Falcon. A true sailor by heart, Andy is in his element under sail tweaking for optimal performance, and he is proud to have been a key member on the wining team in the 2018 Perini Navi Cup in Porto Cervo, Sardinia. With a cheeky smile and many jokes up his sleeve, a laugh is never far away when Andy is around.
